26TH OCTOBER 2021 is Charlie Landsborough’s 80th birthday. If you’re reading this Charlie, many happy returns!
Some Warringtonians will remember Charlie performing his laid back country and folk songs in pubs such as the Mad Hatter in Lovely Lane, long before he found fame relatively late in life after appearing on RTE television in Ireland at the age of 53.
To celebrate Charlie’s birthday here’s an interview I did with him back in November 2020 during which he discusses the writing of his songs What Colour Is The Wind, My Forever Friend, Part Of Me, I Will Love You All My Life and Things That My Ears Can Do.
